Mars, PA, February 1, 2022 – NAC LPT LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of NAC International Inc. (NAC), recently provided a turn-key waste management disposition of a 270,000-pound shielded tank from a site in New York safely to its destination in Pennsylvania. The effort included a high-profile ‘super load’ shipment as part of the comprehensive waste management project. The 270,000-pound shipment from West Milton, New York to Wampum, Pennsylvania was featured by various Pennsylvania news media and was followed extensively on social media, including the PA DOT Facebook Group “PA Superloads” and Twitter site “#PASuperload22” as well as in the New York Times article of January 14, 2022, titled, “Superload’ Lumbers Across Pennsylvania, Two Lanes Wide and as Big as Two Whales.”

NAC LPT President Ken Grumski said: “The planning for this work started over a year and half ago. A tremendous number of talented people from many professional organizations made this happen successfully and safely in some of the most unforgiving weather. We had vision to take a fresh look at this challenging project, find smarter, safer, innovative solutions, and cost-effectively bring that vision to life through project execution.”
